Bradstreet's house and two more, killed Capt Pasco Chubb and his wife, Maj. Wade's son, and two others. Carried Col. Bradstreet's family a little way, and released them. The Indians returned by way of Haverhill Massachusetts, they met with Jonathan Haynes, and Samuel Ladd, with their elder sons. The two fathers were slain, and the sons carried away. Hyer<br /> On this Friday, Walter was cutting wood at the farm of a neighbor, Albert N. Young of Sumpter Township, Sauk Co. WI. Due to an accident with a large power driven circular saw, Walter had his kneecap removed. The injury was so severe he would have his leg amputated three days later in an attempt to save is life. All attempts to save his life were to no avail as Walter passed away the next day, Tuesday, February 9.
