New Mexico has some beautiful flowering cacti. Since this was our first time in the south west we were amazed at how beautiful the desert could be. Maybe it was because we were there in May. We stop at a park to visit the ruins of the Pecos Pueblo Indians. We took the older path of the highway up to Santa Fe.
